That evening Mikey was ecstatic. He rushed around everywhere, checking in all of the mirrors to see if he looked ok.
“Gerard, do I look fine?” he asked for about the two-hundred-and-sixty-fifth time.
“Yes Mikes, You look fine,” Gerard groaned. Eventually, the door slammed shut and Gerard breathed a sigh of relief.
  ALICIA’S P.O.V
I met him at the meeting point we arranged; outside the cinema, and walked inside holding hands. We handed our tickets in and walked to the movie chatting about random things. It was a good movie but I caught Mikey sleeping halfway through. Afterwards we had a walk around outside and that’s when even I wondered why I was wearing a miniskirt and a tank top. It was freezing! Mikey took off his jacket and slung it over my shoulders, he is a real sweetie! After half an hour his parents came to pick us up. That night I had a text from Mikey saying if I enjoyed it. I text back ‘yes’ and lay on my bad thinking about him.
     The next day everyone was in high spirits and was cheerful about the days’ events; Frank had a guitar exam and Ray had a date. Outside the school, Charlene was waiting with her fiery red hair tied in loose pigtails and wearing her fave brown waistcoat, the one with the embroidered flowers.
“Hiya honey!” Charlene called to Ray as she saw him crossing the street.
“Yo!” He replied. They talked for a while then Ray leant over and kissed Charlene on the cheek. She squealed in delight and returned the kiss. Then they started kissing each other on the lips. Whilst they were snogging, the other members of the band were peeping around the corner, spying on them.
“Wow, look at them go!” bob laughed.
“Hey, I have a date soon too. If I catch you spying on me you’ll be dead!” Frank explained.
“Don’t worry Frankie, we wont!” Mikey replied, patting Frank on the back. The rest of them just laughed but then Gerard said, “I haven’t had a date with Mandy yet!” and he pulled his mobile out of his pocket. Another quick one, Mikey thought. All of a sudden his face turned grave. He murmured something into the phone, slipped his phone back in his pocket. And whispered
“I’m going home.” Then he turned on his heels and walked away.
The rest of the gang were puzzled. Gerard’s change of mood sort of stunned them a bit. When Mikey got home he found Gerard sitting at the table, sipping coffee. His face was red from crying.
“Oh, Gee, what happened?” Mikey asked sympathetically.
“Just leave me alone!” Gerard mumbled.
“Please Gee! I won’t tell anyone!” Mikey said.
“Well if you’re sure… Mandy c-committed s-suicide!”  Gerard burst out into tears again.
“Oh, Gerard, I’m so sorry!” Mikey exclaimed, hugging his brother. The doorbell rang and Mikey answered the door.
“Hi!” Frank said happily.
“Hey Frank!” Mikey replied.
“So what’s wrong with Gee?” Frank asked. Mikey signaled to Gerard. He nodded sorrowfully so Mikey told Frank.
“Well, Mandy committed suicide.” Mikey explained.
“Aw, poor you Gerard!” Frank said sympathetically, patting him on the back. Gerard just sniffed and took a big gulp of coffee. Frank asked him if he could tell the others. Gerard mumbled yes so Frank took his mobile out of his pocket and dialed the guy’s numbers. Telling them, one by one, about Mandy.
       The next day, each of the gang turned up with a present and tried to comfort him.
“Thanks guys, I’m feeling a bit better now” Gerard said. He told them the whole story. Apparently, when Gerard rung her, the Hospital answered it. They told him that they were sorry and that they couldn’t have done anything to save her. They passed the phone to Mandy’s mum who was crying to hard she could hardly talk. They murmured something then broke down in sobs. That’s when Gerard got depressed and walked away. After he told this his eyes glistened with tears.
